4th anniversary of the genocide of the Yazidi (Ezidi)
Women for Justice e. V. supported the press statement in Diyarbakir on the anniversary of the genocide of the Yazidis (Ezidis).
Women for Justice e. V. visited members and partners in the Sinjar area (Sinun, Xanesor, Serdesht, Kersê, Şengal city, Koço). Talks within the community, seminars and workshops with colleagues and also a women’s conference were on our agenda. We also supported our colleagues in the field with social care and legal support for female survivors.
Meeting female survivors
We understand meetings with female survivors as the basis of all our work. We have been meeting female survivors from Sinjar (Şengal) both as inviduals and in groups. Besides social care and legal advice, we try to find out methods to enable Yazidi (Ezidi) survivors to make their own decisions in life here in Germany.
